Musical Monday

Today's selections feature a few of my favorite things:

1. David Tennant.
2.  The song "The Gambler"
3. A song by Morrissey when he was singing with "The Smiths."
4.  David Tennant singing along with both of those songs.  And dancing.  It makes me practically quivery with happiness!
5.  People randomly bursting into song while doing mundane things.  Like eating ice cream while staking out a shady bloke.  Or making a drug bust.  Because no matter how much most people try to deny it, life really is a musical.

Enjoy!

It is one of the true sorrows of my life that this is not yet available on DVD. What can they be thinking?!

Maybe if CSI burst into song more often, I'd like it better. (Can't you just picture the scenes with the ME?)

Thanks to you, Emilia, I've been fighting the urge to dance around the kitchen all day.
According to Wikipedia, there is a DVD. We must find a copy. I can't stress this enough.
I've already checked the library; no go.

There doesn't seem to be a US dvd. Does anybody have a region free DVD player? Or will dvds from the UK work on the computer? I wonder... Anyway, if so, we can totally get a copy on ebay of the original miniseries AND the sequel which has -wait for it- ICE DANCING!!

I am sure this is taking up important things in my brain. Things that would be much more beneficial for me to know about than a BBC mini-series that I CAN'T EVEN WATCH. grrr.

Curse you, Emilia!! (You can't see it, but I'm shaking my fist.)
I can't stop watching this video.
I'm going to end up in a twelve-step program. I hope you can live with that.

We clearly need a book group broad trip abroad! Forget the 12 steps, let's go to the UK just so we can watch this show!!!

If that doesn't work, I can live with the guilt. Although, now it raises the bar on the next musical Monday. What could I possibly put up that could take the place of this?! (If you can't get it out of your head just think "Green anaconda Green anaconda...". See? I'm helpful.)
