More Zoo

There's not really an explanation for the above picture.
Being at the zoo with 5 kids makes me tired, too.

Polar Bears!!!
Goofball!!
Goofballs!!  (The plural of goofball, obviously.)
I love these weirdos.

Zoo!

This year we are trying to use ALL of our coupons from the library reading program.  The boys all earned zoo passes, so while the weather was lovely last week, we went and enjoyed seeing the fun polar bear area!

But first, the goats:

Is it still called currying when it's a goat?
Lilyanna was unimpressed with the goats.
The goats were not impressed with her pretty blue eyes, you see.
But all of these goofy guys are:

For Beth

Are you all noting the cuteness and the CRAWLING??

5 months

Mmmm.  Mommy's hair and my thumb.  Now I can calm down.

Do you see that??  If she does sideways crunches in an effort to get away from me, she almost has rolls!!  No other time, though.  Still, the doctor was happier with her growth.  Girlfriend likes to EAT!  While all of my babies have enjoyed food, Lilyanna takes the cake (haha), for being the most intense about it.  We almost can't eat in front of her unless she has food, too.  Even if she has just finished eating.  She is up to three meals a day and is enjoying oatmeal, avocado, apples, pears, peaches, sweet potatoes and peas.  She doesn't love bananas.  Which is weird to me.  But if I mix them in with something else, I can get her to eat them.

In other news, she is totally mobile.  For real.  She gets up on all fours and rocks and lunges forward.  and then repeats, in addition to scooting and rolling all over the place.   j

And then there is the my hair in her mouth thing.  That is her "lovie".  I constantly wear my hair in braids now because it hurts less when she yanks on it to stuff it in her mouth.  Come winter, I will have hairsicles if this keeps up.

Lilyanna is by far the most social of all my babies.  Is that a girl thing?  She actually cares if there is another baby around and will try to interact with that baby.  My boys would do that for 45 seconds tops and then move on.  Lilyanna is very happy to sit and chat for several minutes.

It's difficult to believe it's been almost half a year...
