musings about family life, the world we live in, and life in general
Love his smile. Hope he continues to love kindergarten. Is it half-day or full-day there? Down here in Texas, it's full-day...no surprise there since we live in the "standarized test crazed belt" down here.
It's half day. They have a wacky program here where they make full day available as well, but you have to pay for it. Supposedly, the kids get the same amount of instruction in full day and half day, but the whole set-up seems like a bad idea to me.Are Chris and Ian doing any pre-school this year?
I love that you took the picture of the kids all lined up. Now I feel like I was actually there.
No preschool for Ian and CHris this year. They just barely turned 3 and so I think I'll just keep them home one more year. I'll probably have them start kindergarten when they're barely 6. I did the same with Connor and felt like that worked really well. That full/half-day kindergarten sounds a little odd. It's probably only a matter of time before they change over to full-day kindergarten. I think that's the trend nationwide.
That is a great picture. I am not looking forward to Max going to school next year.
