I swear I haven't forgotten. I just haven't posted poems for a few days. Now I'm back. And to make up for the absence of poetry over the last few days, here are some wonderfully silly ones from poet Ogden Nash. Short and um, sweet.
THE CANARY
The song of canaries
Never varies,
And when they're molting
They're pretty revolting.
THE EEL
I don't mind eels
Except as meals.
THE FLY
God in his wisdom made the fly
And then forgot to tell us why.
