I just stole this from Heather's blog, because it makes me smile a lot. That's my kid!:
Here, for your edification, is the overheard discussion between Adam and his friend Caleb on the way to Gym, Snack and Swim class yesterday. We had just seen a most impressive, really huge snowman in someone's yard.
Adam: WOW! That snowman is HUGE!!!!!
Caleb: Yeah! He's the biggest I have ever seen!
A: He is reaching his hands up all the way to touch the sky!
C: He is reaching his hands up all the way to Jesus' throne!
A: ?! Jesus isn't a KING!
C: Yes he is, he is the king of kings.
A: Caleb, Jesus is DEAD.
C: Yeah, but he wanted to die so he could be with God his father.
A: ?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?
Methinks that our Sunday school program isn't as on the ball as the Smith family's. In our defense, we have only been attending meeting for 6 months, but still.
