Musical Monday
Snowy weekends in February mean we need a return of Musical Monday. This one makes me think about all those wonderful seed catalogs about to come my way!!

The Evil Laugh
Watch the first 40 seconds of this and then proceed:
We live right next to our elementary school. This means that I can stand in my front door (usually in my PJs) and watch my kids walk into the door of the school building. It's a fairly fabulous part of my life.
A few weeks ago, Caleb was running late for school, so I was doing everything I could to get him out my door and into the school door before the bell rang. Finally, he left and ran to the school.
There are two different entry ways on the side of the school building; each of them set back a bit, making a nice and echo-y brick alcove. Caleb did not run to the doorway he was supposed to go, but rather first went to the other one. I couldn't figure out what he was doing there until all of a sudden I heard all sorts of evil laughter echoing across the street and into my front door.
Then, he came out of the alcove and bopped his little blond head happily along to the correct door to start his day at school.
I'm not sure if the practicing of the evil laugh was to get it out of his system for the day, or to prepare for the work ahead.
Either way, it's just so very Caleb.
